What is the Overmind Project ?
The Overmind Project is the strongest project of all in the game, and the person who manages to complete this special mission will have their names recorded in the hall of fame. The Overlord is the person who starts the Overmind Project
Goal
The goal is to start the Overmind Project, and to see how long you can last or stay alive. The longer you stay alive, the more points you have, and the better standing you`ll get in the hall of fame.
Why should I do it ?
o Your name will appear in hall of fame
o A special medal next to your name in ranking
o Special medal in the intel page
o Special medal in fed page
Every once a while we will also offer special rewards (more info please check Help Center > Bounty) such as:
o Paid status for x years
o x amount of donation points
o x amount of cash reward
Requirements
There is two parts of the Overmind project, Hektar (part 1) and Loktar (part 2).
You need to spend 5 million planets, 2 billion unit(s) of ore and 7 days wait time to start the Overmind Loktar project.
If your Loktar project has been destroyed and you are not the Overlord, you will need to pay the ore and wait another 7 days to create another Loktar.
If you are the Overlord, you will need to reinvest the planets to make another attempt.
Detailed:
1. Player must join a federation
2. Player must give a total of 5 million planets, 100,000 planets each time to 50 different empires. Receiver restriction: must be below 200k planets, must not be in the same fed, must not be same Pc or IP
3. Once the player has given 5 million planets away, Hektar will start charging up.
4. After 7 days the Hektar project will be fully charged and the player will be able to start building the Loktar project.
5. If the Loktar project should be destroyed, then the player can go back to get another Loktar project in the Hektar project (have to wait another 7 days, and have to pay more ore to the Loktar project)
6. The player needs to spend 2 billion ore to finish building the Loktar project, once completed the player have the option to start to combine the two parts to start the Overmind Project
7. Once combined, the `Overlord` (the player) gains the `Overmind Project`, Galactic Crisis mode starts immediately
8. The Overlord can then activate an effect on the `Overmind Project` (see effects below) provided if the project have sufficient energy charged up
Warning
You need to prepare yourself before combining the two parts of the Overmind Project (Hektar & Loktar). Once combined:
1. The game goes into Galactic Crisis mode
2. All existing Loktar project will be destroyed
3. The Overlord will gain the Overmind project
4. Overlord will receive an alien planetary system
5. All ships in the most inner system (old system) of the Overlord will be brought forward to this alien system, all ships not in the most inner systems will be lost
4. The Overlord`s fleet will increased by +100%
5. No attack restrictions on the Overlord, no damage protection, no newbie protection
Special conditions
Fed members of the Overlord can reinforce (build ships for) the Overlord , limited to 100 bil Pr on RT and 50 bil Pr on non-RT, if Overlord goes above this Pr, all attackers gains +300% damage
The Overlord have to pay upkeep for the ships built by the fed members, fed members does not need to pay upkeep for this ships
Fed members can only build neutral that already exist in the Overlord`s fleet (This means if the Overlord has build c.Cancer the fed members can only build more c.Cancer, if a single stack has been destroyed then the fed members can no longer build ships of that stack)
Reinforced ships cost most to build (5x on non-RT and 10x on RT) & v.fast build option not available
Normal DP restriction apply for Fed members reinforcing the Overlord (you will be taken out of DP if you are in DP, if not building ships will not effect your DP Tokens)
No one can start the Galactic Crisis mode if another Galactic Crisis is effect or a `Game-wide event` is active
Overlord`s Fed will not be able to accept new members , kick old ones or resign from the fed until the Galactic Crisis is over.
Capture ability will be disable when attacking the Overlord
Overlord will not be able to: receive reinforcements, build/disband ships, attack other empire, gain retals
Overlord will not see the details of players who have attacked the Overlord, all attacks will not be shown in the Science > Events or Military > Battle Records
Other players will not have to wait x amount of minutes before being able to attack the Overlord
Overlord can attack other players (normal attack restrictions apply)
All Collective, Marauder & Guardian race gains +20% damage when attacking the Overlord (calculated as +20% not compounded as x1.2)
Galactic Crisis will end when the Overlord has been killed off by either having less than 100 million Pr, no ships or no planets left. The system checks for this once every 5 minutes therefore the Overlord can drop to below 100 million Pr and rebuild up, the Overmind cant rebuild is he/she has no planets left.
Insurance : Overlord will have all his existing planetary systems saved. He/she will receive a Special Planetary System with 200,000 planets, 50% defense rating. If the Overlord happens to die, then the Overlord will go into DP, all his/her saved planetary systems prior to the Galactic Crisis will be given back to the Overlord (minus the 5 mil planet for Overmind Hektar)
Overlord will not be able to go into Vacation Mode
Overlord will not be able to restart his empire or use any of the DNA project
Galactic Crisis announcements will be hidden for new players (players who have recently signup within the last 3 days)
Overmind Activated Effects will not effect new players (players who have recently signup within the last 3 days)
Overmind Project Effects
The Overmind Project needs to charge up sufficient energy before able to activate an effect calculated in `energy charged for x amount of hours`. The more powerful the effect the longer the Overmind Project needs to charge up.
Overmind Project effects:
12 hours : -20% to assigned planets on all systems
24 hours : -20% to credits
24 hours : -20% to minerals
36 hours : -10% to minister levels
36 hours : -20% to pop on all systems
48 hours : -5% to infra levels
72 hours : Enslave top 500 people who doesnt have a lord
120 hours : -20% to all planets
*Only when Galactic Crisis is active
Players that doesnt deal sufficient damage to the Overlord will suffer an additional 20% to 30% damage from the Overmind Effect. The actual amount may vary depending on how much damage the player has done to the Overlord (Example: Player will suffer 24% to 26% instead of 20% instead of -20% to credits).
Federation members of the Overlord will suffer 30% less damage from the Overmind Effect
The Overlord will suffer 0 damage from the Overmind Effect
There is a small chance (1-3%) that the player will not be effected The Overmind Effect if the player is online at the same time when the Overmind Effect is activated
Once an Overmind Effect is activated, the Overmind Project will begin charging again from stratch.
