Why should I join a Federation ?
 
Defense
Joining a more powerful Federation automatically makes your empire stronger. This is because your Federation empire can indirectly protect you by making threats to other empires which dares to bully you. An example is, an empire which always picks on a weaker empire. Members can also inform you if there is any urgent events such as galaxy crisis or if someone attacked you.
 
Sharing of information
When you are in a Federation you can actually track who is attacking who and so on. This can prove to be an importance issue as can not only keep an eye out for your fellow members but to monitor any hostile events.
 
More fun
You can join a group of friends or make new friends.
 
Team work
Once you join a Federation it is much easier to work together as a team. For example, you can work together to bring down a single enemy. Why ? Because usually a Federation will have a number of players with different ranks. A higher player will not be able to attack a much-lower-rank empire due to the vast difference in strength. This is where a lower rank member of your Federation can assist you out to attack this lower rank empire.
