Why do we have guidelines ?

Guidelines are to ensure a friendly and happy environment for all players. Please follow the rules of the game which apply to all aspects of the game (including game play, conversing with other players, and all other activities) to allow the most enjoyable experience for all of those involved.

Game : Guidelines

1. No cheating allowed
2. Only 1 account per server
3. Do not harass other players

Game : Ethics

1. Be polite and dont lose your cool (temper) if you lose battles
2. Dont attack empires repeatedly ( No more then twice in a row )  

Game : Things you may get suspended/blacklisted for

1. Using someone's* account to induce DP
2. Using someone's* account to gain planets or resources
3. Purposely transfer ownership* of planets to avoid counters
4. Constantly annoy or irritate other players
5. Harass players
6. Exploiting a loophole or bug in the system for personal* gain
7. Transfering minerals via the market.
Note: * also applies to members of your Fed/Guild or same accounts on same PC/IP

Game : Things to remember

1. No one wins all the time (average ratio is 20-40% win ratio)
2 Like in real-life this game has its ups and downs. If you lose a lot of battles / resources, dont lose heart just build up again, everyone goes through rough patches, it is those who stick around that get stronger.

Chat/Forum/PM : Guideliness

1. Do not touch sensitive issues (ex: religion, racial, political)
2. Do not offend other players
3. No cursing, swearing and yelling
4. No posting up rubbish (flood)
5. No ads/selling/marketing/promotion of anything not related to spacefed.  
6. Repetitively post same message
(For non spacefed.com related topics, a single post is ok if someone asks about something, discussion of other games is also allowed).
7. Only type in English on the public chat, if you wish to type in another language do so via PM.
8. Do not go into topics inappropriate for public chat. Inappropriate topics will be deemed so on the discretion of Spacefed staff members.

This includes but is not limited to:

Triggering of the filter*, attempts to bypass the filter*, Continued posting of the same thing.
Copying and Pasting events^ from your empire may also be seen as flooding.

Silencing is at the discretion of the Moderators / Guides to ensure no disputes or flaming among players.
If you are silenced it was for a reason, please do not flame the forums claiming to be "unfairly" silenced.

*Filter = Offensive words being censored
^ Events = This includes market posts and all other empire events


What action will be taken if this guidlines have been broken ?

One of our moderators will impose certain punishments on you, such as :-

Silence
You cannot post any messages in private message or public chat. Lasts up to 24 hours. 
Silencing cannot be undone, and will cease when the specified time is finished. 

Suspension
Your account has been temporary suspended until a moderator decides to unsuspend your account.

Blacklist
You can never login or signup again.
