PROJECT - OVERMIND

What is it ?

Although little is known about the ancient Kal-Zul race, ancient ruins found in archeological dig sites have actually allowed scientists to piece together the truth and the history of the Overmind Project of the Kal-Zul. The Kal-Zul used the Overmind Project as a means of dominating the galaxy. The Overmind Project grants the bearer (or the Empire who builds it) the ability to influence the minds of all other living inhabitance of the galaxy (server).

The Overmind Project consists of 2 parts, the Kal-Zul Hektar and the Kal-Zul Loktar. After successfully completing both parts of the Overmind Project the bearer Empire will have to wait 48 hours (in game time) before both the parts are fused together. During this period the bearer of the project is open to attacks as the Galactic Council lifts all attack restrictions against the bearer. The galaxy will be in a state of Galactic Crisis during this period or until someone manages to destroy the Overmind Project. When the fusion of both parts completes then the Overmind Project can be activated.

Once activated the Empire that controls or builds the Overmind Project the following will occur:-

1. The bearer will effectively conquer the galaxy, finishing the game. The name of this Empire will forever be engraved in the Hall Of Fame.
2. The server encounters a soft reset, all empire loses up to 90% of all resources. The bearer's Federation however losses 67% of all resources.


How do I build this ?

1. Research the Overmind Project
2. Go to Projects
3. Build the Kal-Zul Hektar Project
4. Build the Kal-Zul Loktar Project

Before attempting to finish the game, ensure that you have enough resources as you will be open to attack from every Empire in the galaxy (server).


Special Rules for Galactic Conquest Game

The following special rules applies for the Galactic Crisis which occurs during the fusion period of the Overmind Project.

- No one can use planet creation artifacts
- No PR restrictions for any one who wishes to attack the bearer Empire
- Bearer Empire has a penalty for exploring for new planets
  Harder to explore and exploration brings you out of DP
- Bearer Empire has a damage protection of 1 hour (game time) only
- Bearer Empire is excepted from the 5,000 PR newbie protection
- Everyone's Overmind Project gets destroyed when the Galactic Crisis ends

Overmind Project will be destroyed when:-
- Bearer loses any battle with a PR below 500,000
- Bearer have 3 or less colonies left



Special Rules for Unification Wars Game

The following special rules apply for the Galactic Crisis that occurs during the fusion period of the Overmind Project.

- No one can use planet creation artifacts
- No PR restrictions for any one who wishes to attack the bearer Empire
- Bearer Empire has a penalty for exploring for new planets
- Bearer Empire has a damage protection of 1 hour (game time) only
- Bearer Empire is excepted from the 5,000 PR newbie protection
- Everyone's Overmind Project gets destroyed when the Galactic Crisis ends

- Overmind Project will be destroyed when:-
- Bearer loses any battle with a PR below 500,000
- Bearer loses any battle battle with less than 5,000 planets
