STAGE 3 - CONQUEST

The key aspect for Stage 3 is to expand your empire via military force


Conquest
Stealing other empire's planets or enslaving them is a way of conquest.

Things you should know:-
  1. stands for DP (short for damage protection). If you are under DP, no one can attack you.

  2. You get DP 

    a) If you lose 40% or more of your fleet in an attack on your empire
    b) If you lose 3 colonies in an attack on your empire

  3. You leave DP if you bulid ships which are not scouts or starbases, or if you attack other players.  Otherwise you remain in DP for a set time depending on your game speed, 24 hours on real time, ultra or fast, 48 hours on normal and slow.

Advice ?
  1. Read up on how battles work ( Manual > Useful Guide > How battles work )
  2. Always have at least 3 stacks (different types of ships)
