Potential Problems
Notes: Please read this first
- This page refreshes once every 5 minutes
- The system will display the last 5 time, so you can check based on the time for time paterns
- Peak time is from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM (Server time), therefore some lag time may be experienced if it is during low peak time. This means during peak time you may see 1 validation email every 30 minutes but during low peak this may increase from 30 minutes to 1 hour. You can use Yahoo, Gmail & Hotmail to compare to one another. Ultra low peak time is from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM server time.
1. Attack
This checks to see when is the last successful attack in UC-RT.
2. Tutorial
This checks to see if there is any potential problems with any of the tutorial missions, or a bug in the game that will cause players not to be able to finish the tutorial mission.
3. Email Validation
This will display as Hotmail, Yahoo & Gmail on the page.
The reason for this is so that we can be aware of any email related problems, such as email server crashed, or an email provider like Hotmail is blocking our emails. When such a case were to happen then we will lost a lot of new players because they simply cant validate their emails.
Common problems
- Hotmail not working, we have an email server specially dedicated to hotmail, and if hotmail isnt working then this means there could be a server problem with our `hotmail email server`. Do test sending validation to a hotmail email. Stephen will need to restart the hotmail email server for this to be fixed.
- Gmail & Yahoo isnt working, SMTP email server is down. SMTP is means the server that sends out the email. Stephen will need to restart the the SMTP server for this to be fixed.
- Everything isnt working, this means that the Coldfusion (the game is on Coldfusion) cant send email to the SMTP email server. To ensure emails arent lost, we have a backup system that stored all emails sent via Coldfusion to the SMTP. Stephen will need to restart the the Coldfusion to SMTP server service this to be fixed.
