Defending your empire
Other empires may want to steal your newly explored colonies.
Things you should know:-
1.
stands for DP (short for damage protection). If you are under DP, no one can attack you. 2. You get DP if you lost 50% of your ships (base on PR) or a large amount of your planets
Advise ?
1. You will lose less planets if you have some defense.
2. Read up on how battles work ( Manual > Useful Guide > How battles work )
3. Always have at least 3 stacks (different types of ships)
4. Border colonies maybe lost if attacker wins
5. Have 3-6 unwanted/undeveloped colonies in your border (as fodders/buffer)
If you do not have enough fodder colonies, explore for it.
